About Improv Roulette
Improv Roulette is a collaborative performance experiment. Participants work together to create spur-of-the-moment reactive performances. Through this exploration, performers are able to practice improvisation techniques in a safe, low pressure setting. Improv Roulette is a multidisciplinary experiment. Dancers in any style, acrobats, poi artists, hoopers, break dancers, puppetry performers, musicians, and singers are all welcome. The goals of Improv Roulette are to foster collaboration, community, and creative spontaneity. Also, it’s really fun.
Improv Roulette was founded by Elizabeth Joy in 2012. Since then, it has grown from six participants to a national community with four official chapters across the United States. We are continuously growing our community and have many exciting things in store for 2017. For more information, please visit our FAQ page.
